Greeters
The purpose of the Greeters Ministry is to provide an enthusiastic, positive, spiritual,
and friendly welcome to each person entering The Worship Center. This ministry is committed
to helping make the worship experience at The Bridge more fulfilling.
Southwest Community Youth Outreach known as (SWCYO) is an extension of
Southwest Community Christian Center “The Bridge” and Southwest sporting
environment, where youth can learn the values of sportsmanship and the fundamentals
of many sports activities.
The Bridge and Bennett SAMS tutoring
Ministry Mission Statement: The mission of S.A.M.S. Tutoring Ministry is to help students
become independent and successful learners by assisting them to develop good study skills
and habits to increase their understanding of course content and to develop positive attitudes
towards learning in a Christian and positive environment.
Couples Ministry
The Mission of “BRIDGES,” the Couples Ministry is to provide
a biblically based environment where couples acquire knowledge, develop skills,
create supportive relationships, and strengthen their resolve to cultivate a marriage
that will bring glory to God and be an example to family and friends. Engaged couples are
also encouraged to come and benefit from these classes.
Media
Primary responsibilities include overseeing media and technical aspects of
worship services, producing and editing inside and outside video
boards, creating strong still and motion graphics for church communications,
and managing updates on all digital social media platforms.
Television
As a Church TV Ministry, our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of television.
Through our ministry, we strive to reach individuals with the love of Christ, strengthen their faith, and provide
them with the tools necessary to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Sound
It is the mission of the Southwest Community Christian Center Sound Ministry to create such an
atmosphere whereas the Word of God and gospel music proficiently permeate
throughout the sanctuary.
Graphic Arts
Welcome to The Bridge’s Graphic Arts Ministry We believe
that every member has a gift to contribute The Graphic Arts Ministry is dedicated to most of the
print and visual media plays an invaluable role in communicating with our congregation
such as the church Newsletter, Bulletin Board, Photography and all Graphic Artistry requested
by our fellow Church Members.
Prison
The prison ministry conducts face to face visit twice a month, every other Saturday in a class setting.
Letter writing/response, attempt to answer requests made. Locate employment,sober living,
half-way housing, etc for re-entry programs, one person at a time,case by case basis.
The Bridge Music Ministry provides a variety of exciting and uplifting music talent
opportunities for all ages. We have a total of 8 different choirs that is from
pre-schooler thru adults. Now,if you are looking to be involved with a Choir Music Ministry
that is committed to joyfully proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ through biblically

Seasoned Seniors
Our mission is to create the opportunity for seasoned seniors to fellowship, study the word of God,and lend support to our community. Season Seniors membership
is from the age of 55 and above.
The mission of the Sunday Bible School is multi-faceted including educating and
equipping students in God’s word. Further, we teach biblical principles and exhort worshippers
to live lives that are pleasing to God. But our most important mission is to move people
to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
Touch and Agree Prayer
Our goal is to help Christians realize the necessity of an ongoing prayer life and to encourage prayer
among The Bridge fellowship.
Women Christian Fellowship
Women’s Fellowship provides multiple ways for you to connect with a variety of women
spiritually,emotionally and socially as we grow in Christ and with each other.
Children’s Bible Center
Our Children’s Church Ministry has a passion to teach children about Jesus Christ
and the importance of knowing God’s word at a level for their understanding.
Charles W. Patrick Veteran’s Ministry
To show God’s love through service and provide spiritual support to active duty members, fellow veterans
and their families.
The primary objective is to foster a sense of community by creating opportunities for interaction among members.
Additionally, the aim is to increase awareness of the church and its
various programs and activities. Moreover, the provision of content is geared
towards promoting spiritual growth and maturity among members.

Praise Dance Ministry
We dance to celebrate, worship, and praise God through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Movement has power to
stir the senses and emotions and convey a message that cannot be expressed through words alone, so our
ministry interprets selected songs to express God’s messages
to His people.
Praise – To celebrate God’s love, mercies and blessings
Worship – To create an environment where one can enter the presence of the Lord.
Minister – To communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach the lost.
Membership Care Ministry
Our ministry is about the care of our members. We offer benevolence and communion, prayer,
and personal care needs as permitted by the church.
The Empowerment Ministry was created with the desire to aid our community with knowledge.
We want to give back by providing The Bridge a platform of many resources. When we know
better, we do better. Our mission is to lead the community in improving our lives through
events such as educational seminars, college and career fairs, workshops,
and Christian Empowerment Events.
Grief Care Ministry
The Grief Ministry will utilize the GriefShare curriculum which is designed to support anyone
who has had a loved one transition to be with Jesus. Our goal is to provide a safe environment
in which to walk through the grief journey,along with others that are also walking in or have
walked this grief journey. We want to emphasize “you are not alone”.
Youth and Young Adult Ministry
The youth ministry aimed to equip the next generation with practical skills to make a
positive impact in their world while strengthening their relationship with Jesus.
